We are staying at Château Mercier and this was were our first gig in Switzerland was held..We kicked off the Sierre Blues Festival yesterday in front of all of the Sierre officials and politicians. This Chateau is the most beautiful place I have ever been. Sierre Switzerland is the most beautiful place I have ever scene. Château Mercier has lush rose gardens, natural spring fountains(inside and out), peacocks, paintings dated from 1700-present, and staff that treat you like royalty.
Below is a few pictures to show you were we are staying.
Steps from Sierre City up to Château Mercier. We have climbed them several times since our arrival to Sierre, and they don't get easier. This picture only shows a third of the climb.

Inside fountain in the foyer..

Above is a picture from the front left of the house after your climb.Simply beautiful.

The Key to MC's rooms and mine..if you know me well, you know I am a HUGE fan of skeleton keys.
Now on to Château de Villa!
This was another wonderfully beautiful building.Build in the 17th century with 13inch thick walls it houses wines from the region and surrounding regions. I don't drink, but you can see the flavor is beautiful by the expressions on these wine lover's faces.
We performed two days back to back at
Château de Villa. Each days brought new dried meats and cheese fondue to our table. Today we tried five different cheese with potatoes to dip. It was so so so so good!
Below are a few pictures of our day. The man in the picture is Dominiq. He was graceful and giving to us. I am happy I met him and honored to play at his Château.

This is a night view of the Château.

Michael, Dan, Dominiq, Aggie, Zack

Dominiq with a bottle from the late 1800s..we didn't try it, but the bottle looked way cool.
That is it for the night tomorrow we are playing
Buffet de la Gare.
I promise to get some pictures of us playing and Aggie has some video I will post later...stay tuned.
I am sending this without proof reading ..sorry for the mistakes.
